Tim Leishman


Tim prides himself on his ability to relate to his clients and advocate on their behalf. Tim approaches each of the matters that he encounters with transparency and professionalism and is quick to develop relationships with his valued clients. Tim has experience in dealing with all types of parenting disputes and recognises that all parenting disputes are unique in their own way and strives to treat each client with respect whilst being accessible and accountable. Tim regularly appears in the local court, the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court.

Tim completed his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Newcastle in 2018. Tim was further awarded The Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association Scholarship in 2018 and has previously completed a Bachelor of Business in 2016 majoring in Management.

Tim has previously completed his Practical Legal Training with Joplin Lawyers and is now a full-time solicitor with the team. Tim is passionate about advocacy and equal and just representation for all of our clients.
